Based on the results of prospecting, mineralized gold-bearing zones in the central part were delineated and mineral resources were calculated with the following indicators: in the P1 + P2 category, gold reserves are 6.43 tons with an average grade of 3.3 g/t with the strike of ore zones up to 600 m and a forecast depth of 300 m.
According to the results of exploration in 2008-2012, the gold reserves of the Karabulak deposit were put on the state balance of the Republic of Kazakhstan in category C2 in the amount of: Ore 3946.6 thousand tons, gold 6.5 tons, average gold content 1.66 g/t, by category P1 1576.3 thousand tons, gold 2616.6 kg, average grade 1.66 g/t. Total gold 9158.1 kg, ore 5522.9 thousand tons.
For the purposes of the scoping study for the Karabulak development project, SRK prepared a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) based on data obtained from 74 core holes drilled from the surface and 126 surface exploration ditches drilled in the Karabulak area in a narrow strip of central parts from 2014-2019 The report is signed by Robert Goddard, Competent Person under the JORC Code. The reserves amounted to Inferred resources of 3146.7 kg, Indicated resources of 198.4 kg, while the recommendations of SRK on the well drilling plan in the central part of the deposit were implemented.
